Thinking Positively

thinking positively
thinking positively and dishonest people?

why do dishonest people who use their communication skills intelligently have so many friends and can get away with anything. They say something that’s insulting but you don’t know it until later. I think this is my major problem. On the other hand, the self help books I read talk about thinking positively. You only make a fool of yourself by giving such dishonest people the benefit of the doubt if you think positively all the time. People are like sharks

Think positive about a person until they prove otherwise. Then deal with them swiftly and justly.

There was a competition for strategy development. The winning program started out trusting everyone until that trust was broken, then it dealt with that entity (program) severely and cut off “commerce” with it. It would then take a long time for that entity to earn trust again but eventually it put it back into the trusted status until it might or might not break that trust.

This program won the competition. I assume that the strategy makes sense in life which is what this simulation was trying to mimic.
